Photographs of Serbian Medieval Monasteries in Toronto | Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto

A photography exhibition titled "Shrines to the Kin in Canada" by author Miodrag Miša Branković opened on September 3 in Toronto, and the works will be exhibited at the premises of the Serbian National Academy in Canada (2381 Dundas Street West) until September 30.

Welcoming the guests, the Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto, Dejan Eraković, expressed his expectation that the exhibition of photographs of Serbian medieval monasteries will motivate members of our diaspora in Toronto to visit the holy sites in their homeland as pilgrims, while also bringing Serbian spiritual and cultural heritage closer to a wider Canadian audience.

The exhibition was organized on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Canada and, in addition to Toronto, it will be hosted in Ottawa and Montreal in the coming days. The event was attended, among others, by the author of the photographs, representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and Member of the Parliament of Canada Ned Kuruć. The exhibition in Toronto was realized with the support of the company Move Global/Telekom Srbija and the Serbian National Academy in Canada.
