Invitation to Serbian Children on the Occasion of St. Sava’s Day

Interested school-aged children may submit, by email, a photograph of a portrait of Saint Sava created using any technique of their choice (watercolor, tempera, pastel, felt-tip pens, etc.) to the email address of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia, office.toronto@mfa.rs, no later than January 23.

The most successful artwork will be framed and displayed at the premises of the Consulate General for one year, until the next celebration of St. Sava’s Day, and the best young artist will also receive a commemorative gift.

The jury selecting the winner of this year’s competition will consist of staff of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia, a group of teachers of supplementary Serbian language classes from the Toronto area, and the parish priest of the Toronto parish and head of the Church of St. Sava in Toronto Jovica Ćetković.
