A Serbian-Canadian business forum was held in Toronto | Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto

Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Canada and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, a Serbian-Canadian business forum was held in Toronto, bringing together representatives of dozens of companies from nearly all economic sectors.

The gathering was opened by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Damjan Jović, while Ontario Minister of Energy and Mining Stephen Lecce addressed the forum participants on behalf of the Government of Ontario.

The Serbian business delegation arrived in Canada on the first direct flight on the Belgrade–Toronto route, which “Air Serbia” launched on May 23 after 34 years.

Following the business forum, a ceremonial reception hosted by “Air Serbia” was also organized in Toronto, attended by company management members, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and numerous guests from the Serbian community in Canada.
